First Art Post

Thought I'd better start posting some art since I have nothing on here yet. These are poses I drew while watching my daughter play at the playground. I scanned it and redrew them in Photoshop. Still getting a feel for sketching using a Wacom. I usually use it to color.

The New Year!

So... I'm really striving to get in the art /animation industry this year. I think the best bet is to socialize at conventions and expos. The internships are mostly available for students, and I totally missed that option... Looking at other professional artist's blogs/sites it seems they are involved in the art community around them so my goal is to get an awesome portfolio ready for show. My site is currently down because of sopa and got moved over. So I need to update my stuffs! I also think I need to draw more. I can't limit myself to one subject, but also draw objects and environments... I'm working on 2 projects that will help me do that. I'm finally illustrating the zombie babies guidebook and a manga I'm collaborating on. Hopefully writing this will help continue my passion for this.
